To everyone who contributed, and to everyone who asked others to donate — thank you so much! Our first fundraising campaign was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without you!
In honor of Rabbi’s Miriam’s double chai* (36th) birthday, our goal was to raise $3,600 by January 7th. Not only did we meet that goal, but we surpassed it! Together, including the matches, we raised over $12,000!
*The Hebrew word chai means “life” (as in l’chayim!) and its numerical value is 18, which is therefore considered a lucky number.
